Limited Time Keeping You from Owning a Business? Think Again!by Steve White

I've been self-employed in my own business for years, so I naturally asked him why he hadn't already started working on his business. "I don't have time," he said. "The boss has me working 10 hour days, then I've got my family duties. I just don't have the long days it takes to succeed in a business." But that's where I stopped him. Today's home-based businesses are far different than the ones people worked 20, 10, or even 5 years ago. Super-speed online automation now does work in seconds that previously took days of tedious form filling and emailing. Today's advanced automation and ordering systems do almost all the work of finding customers, answering their questions, processing orders, even delivering the product or service, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, several organizations are now offering complete professional selling services to home-based businesses. A top-notch team of trained sales people can talk with your prospects, separate the go-getters from the tire kickers, then send already-sold customers to you. You don't like to sell? You don't like answering phone calls? Hate meetings and online forums? Fine! Your problems have been solved with these outsourced selling systems. Now, literally anybody can own and succeed at their own business. "OK, but how much can I make in a home-based biz?" my friend asked. "I need to be earning several thousand per month or I'll lose my house and car!" That's the other thing that has changed about working for yourself from home. Instead of pulling in $50 to $200 per month like most businesses in the past did, you can earn thousands per month. I personally know a lot of people that are doing this. The secret is to combine all that automation with a rock-solid product that people are willing to pay several thousand dollars for. Then, instead of getting $5 commissions, you're bringing in $1,000 commissions. It only takes a few of those each month to match or exceed your current income. Don't forget, you can publicize your business in newspapers and on radio and TV to get lots of new customers. First try a classified ad in your local daily newspaper. Then move on to low-cost radio that is targeted toward your best prospects. TV is usually too expensive, but often your local cable channels offer very affordable ad rates. To find out the cost, simply call the sales department of each media office. When you own your own business, there is literally no limit to what you can earn. If you work more hours, you make more money. If you have a better idea, you make more money. And getting paid what YOU are worth is probably the most satisfying thing of all.
