Looking to increase your backlink? How many times have you heard content is the king and do you really believe in it? The fact is that, writing own ariticles online can be the most valuable asset of your site, and it can determine the value of your website. There might be some of you who write or blog everyday but still can't see an increase of traffic or backlink? Are you
doing the right way? The secret is,write something useful and submit it to article content directories.

Write good content! You have to write something that is useful, valuable and unique. A tutorial kind of article or even news can work greatly. If you are good at personal finance, write out pieces of articles about it, such as "how to teach your children to save money?", etc. There are people searching for information everyday online and these sorts of articles are most favored by the public. Submit to directories - After you have written your cool articles, it is the time to submit your articles to a list of content directories. But before you do that, write a short bio of yourself, who is the author of the article. Write something short but straightforward, that people can straightaway understand who you are and what service you provide. And always include a link to your site. This is the most important part and never should be forgotten or all your work will be wasted.

Now, time to submit articles. There huge number of websites that want fresh content everyday. Some of these sites require membership where some don't. There are a number of softwares that claim to help you submitting articles to these directories automatically by some clicks. You could have a trial, but me myself do not quite like them as you would still need to register each site manually before you can submit. It's a painful loads of works and I rather submit manually to them. Normally, these sites require some days for their editors to approve your articles, and you must follow their own rules in copywriting. Some of these have a limit on the number of links you can have within your articles, where some rather don't care. It is your responsibility to pick up to 10 of these directories and read through their rules.

Most of the sites mentioned above accept articles on general topics whereas a few others accept articles only on specific topics like online marketing, SEO and business promotion. To find more article websites that accept article submission on your specific domain all that you got to do is search in Google with the following search queries:

In the above search queries the term 'seo' is your area of expertise or your domain that you can change. For instance: to find websites that accept articles on outsourcing, change the word +marketing to +outsourcing.

Watch the popularity grow

After submitting, it is the time when you can have some days off for holiday or you might start writing new articles. After your articles are listed or included by the directories, sooner Google will start indexing the articles. If you write a post titled as "Benefits of using credit cards for purchasing", do a search on it on Google. Always include the quotations. When you do see results, you will realise how quickly these backlinks can grow. Check back constantly, for the popularity and have a smile everytime you see the increase. In addition, some of these articles have high pageranks, and some simply publish articles using a parameter to the homepage instead of a page (eg. domain.com/?Article-Name. This means that if the domain.com has PR7, your article url (domain.com/?Article-Name) will also have PR7. If you placed a link within your bio, sooner your homepage will become PR7 or PR6 at least!

In conclusion, always write something creative, unique and useful. Writing something that is too popular or competitive would not be worthy than writing something unique or unpopular yet. Keep a good copywriting styles, deliver the messages straightforward and no breaking on rules set by these articles directories.
