"Write with fury just as you have invisioned"
After choosing your market niche and forecasting the financial
needs, the next step is to prepare a detail business plan
(how you plan to reach your goals). Also include alternatives
(your backup plans).
Your business plan may including your mission statement, financing,
brick and mortar location or home office, website design, the number
of staff, accounting, communication; phone/fax, business hours,
inventory, letterhead, business cards etc.
When detailing your business plan write with fury just as
you have invisioned. Afterwards you can revise it into a formal
format. Your formal business plan is not just for securing business loans or attracting investors,
most important its your guide up the business ladder.
While your over-all business plan includes marketing, your
marketing mix is a separate plan within its self.
Example: To market your products or services lets
say you plan to use;
- Direct mail sales letters
- Email
- Hand out flyers
- Telemarketing
- Custom businesss cards
- Autoresponders
- Website banner ads
Each of the above is your marketing mix aka your marketing
plans.
Marketing is also time-sensitive ie: it can take time to learn
whats working and whats not and also for prospects to aquainted
with the benefits of your offerings.
There's no one-plan fits all, your business plan and marketing
mix should be unique acccording to your market niche and goals.
Whether your plans are one-page or one hundred-pages use it
and upgrade it as needed.
