Google’s Back Door is OPEN !!

Word has it that it's better to be FOUND by Google than to directly submit your pages. Spidered pages apparently rank higher, so the Google ranking algorithm is set to pay more attention if you get a highly-ranked site to link to you.

But what if you don't know anyone with a high ranking site?

Solution: Let MSN Search rescue you!

Here's how...

Go to Google’s submit URL page:
http://www.google.com/addurl.html

Copy this link, but replace my web address (EPROFITNEWS.COM) with yours:
http://search.msn.com/results.aspx? FORM=MSNH&q=link%3AEPROFITNEWS.COM

I’ve deliberately broken this long link, so please paste both parts into your browser.

Repeat this for all your websites.

Better still, add these MSN URLs to one of your pages that is regularly crawled by Google.

That's it, my friend.

A BACK DOOR FOR THOSE WITHOUT A WEBSITE

But if you don’t have a site that is regularly crawled by Google and the other search engines, why not make a post to one of the forums and use your URL in your signature?

“How can I confirm that this forum is crawled by Google?”

Easily, my friend. Here's what I did.

Go to Google, http://google.com and type in the domain of the forum. For example, type in "howtocorp.com forum" (without the quotes).

Bingo. Mr. Google shows me a current page at the Michael Green’s HowToCorp forum, which proves that their spiders regularly crawl his site.

So post your comment there or ask a relevant question, with your URL in your signature line and it won’t be long and you'll be found by Google.

A VARIATION ON THIS … YAHOO!

Just do the same thing with Yahoo that we did with MSN. Replace my link with yours. And submit it to Google. Easy peazy!

A FUNNY TWIST ON ALL THIS

If you go to http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop/ and type EPROFITNEWS.COM into the panel marked "Enter your URL here", it will show you the number of pages where the site is listed. In this case, it's 9044 in MSN and 844 elsewhere, for a total of 9928 links pointing to EPROFITNEWS.COM. Not bad, eh?

But you see a big fat zero in the Google column, suggesting that there are no links to EPROFITNEWS.COM in Google. Actually there are 16,200 to “eprofitnews”.

Funny, eh?
